Bond Updates

Zachary High School houses students in 9th through 12th grades. The original school consists of a cluster of one-story buildings that were built in several phases in the 1950's. The main building is a one-story brick building containing the administrative areas, library, cafeteria, kitchen and classrooms, gymnasium, industrial arts and an auditorium. The bond projects provided for the construction of a new one-story administration area, classrooms and labs.

The school also saw the completion of a New Agriculture Center and Industrial Arts Complex. Other projects at Zachary High School also included a new two story academic and athletic center including classrooms, weight training room, multi-purpose room, coaches offices, football locker rooms, storage and restroom facilities.

Foundation Hall opened in the Fall of 2011 and currently houses the 9th grade. This beautiful new facility is complete with computer labs and science facilities second to none. Also recently completed is the new 1500-seat competition and auxillary gymnasium complex.The building includes classrooms, a weight-training room, multi-purpose room, coaches' offices, football locker rooms, storag and restroom facilities.0The new Performing Arts Theatre complex is currently under construction.
