Method of Payment: On-line Credit Card Payment through schoolpassport.com. It’s a simple, secure and convenient way to view account balances, and pay for school meals.  Transactions placed prior to midnight central standard time on schoolpassport.com are credited to your child’s account the next business day.

Method of Payment: On-line credit card, cash or check (Checks will be accepted through May 1, 2009.)

Make check payable to: Zachary Community School Board Child Nutrition Program

Write one check per child: In the memo section of the check, write the student’s name and point of service LUNCH NUMBER, if known.

Meal Payments: Prepayment for meals by the month, week or year is recommended. Students spend less time in line if meals are prepaid. You can maximize the time your child has to eat lunch by taking care of meal payments at the beginning of the month or week rather than in the lunch line.  If you pay for meals, it is recommended that you send August’s payment on the first day of school.

Parents of Elementary students: Place cash payments in a sealed envelope that is labeled with the student’s name, purpose for which money is intended, and amount of cash or check sent.

Free/Reduced Price Meal Application: An application for school meal benefits will be sent home to parents.  Parents are to fill out ONE APPLICATION PER FAMILY. The completed application form may be returned to the Zachary Community School Board Office, 4656 Main Street, Zachary, LA 70805. or submit the application to the cafeteria manager at the school where your youngest child is enrolled. Those students who received free or reduced price benefits last year will begin the new school year on the same status. However, by September 19, 2008 a new application must be submitted and processed for the 2008-2009 school year in order for meal benefits to continue.
