By: Brandie McNabb
On March 8, a group of Zachary Elementary teachers came together to walk in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Baton Rouge. Their team, Laura's Ladies, was named in honor of their fellow colleague Laura Webb. The team was led by team manager Bonnie Rader. Tiffany Coulon designed the team t-shirt. The day of the race, the team was recognized for having 'Best Team T-shirts' and received a certificate of recognition presented to them by Supriya Jindal, First Lady of Louisiana. All members enjoyed their time together participating in the race and in 'sticking together' to find a cure.
