ZES Student Wins Art Contest

Zachary Elementary student Kiersten G. was a winner at the Baton Rouge General Children's Art Contest. There were more than 2000 entries and only 70 winners were chosen. Kiersten's art work won Best use of Crayons in her age category. Art teacher Darryl Alello said "I am very proud of the accomplishments our students are making and also making the world more colorful."

Zachary Elementary Student Wins Christmas Card Contest

Congratulations to Zachary Elementary Student Gage B. on winning the district's annual Christmas Card Contest. His artwork was scanned and will be the cover of the district's 2008 Christmas Card. Gage will be honored at an upcoming school board meeting.
