The Zachary Community School District Communications department plays a strategic role in keeping parents, students, staff members, community stakeholders, the public, and the media informed and engaged. We are committed to providing timely and accurate communications and maintaining and improving effective two-way communication between the ZCSD and its stakeholders.
All media inquiries regarding the district (schools, school events, students, employees, etc.) should be directed to ZCSD Communications Specialist Mandy Bradley.

Copper Mill Elementary teacher, Regena Beard (who is a STEM/Computer Science Teacher Leader Advisor for the Louisiana Department of Education) is a guest speaker at the Teacher Leader Summit in New Orleans this morning. She is presenting on Louisiana Student Standards for Computer Science Implementation Frameworks. Mrs. Beard is also a LDOE Teacher of the Year Finalist! We are proud of the work she does to help other educators as well as students!![]()

Our very own Zachary High School Bronco Beat Choir was invited to kick off the massive Louisiana Department of Education's Teacher Leader Summit in New Orleans this morning! They performed for thousands of Louisiana professionals in education who are attending this statewide conference, which is held every summer. We are so proud of them, and they represented the ZCSD well as always!!! #WeAreZachary #academicartsathletics ZHS Choir Department
Congratulations to Elliot Hall! The Baton Rouge Bar Foundation (BRBF) holds an art contest and essay contests each year. BRBF Law Day was held May 2, 2025. Elliot was recognized for placing third in the middle school art division. Way to go Elliot!
