Communications
The Zachary Community School District Communications department plays a strategic role in keeping parents, students, staff members, community stakeholders, the public, and the media informed and engaged. We are committed to providing timely and accurate communications and maintaining and improving effective two-way communication between the ZCSD and its stakeholders.
All media inquiries regarding the district (schools, school events, students, employees, etc.) should be directed to ZCSD Communications Specialist Mandy Bradley.

Today, Copper Mill Elementary School teacher Regena Beard was surprised and honored in front of her class by the Extra Yard for Teachers program, sponsored by the College Football Playoff Foundation and SONIC. This program recognizes educators who go above and beyond to make a positive impact in the classroom. She was presented with the Extra Yard Game Ball and a DonorsChoose.org gift card for her outstanding commitment to STEM education. The game ball was presented by Heather Howle, STEM professor at LSUS, where Mrs. Beard earned her Master’s degree in STEM Curriculum and Instruction! Way to go Mrs. Beard!! #WeAreZachary #AcademicsArtsAthletics #ZacharyForward #AmazingTeacher #STEM #LouisianaStateTeacheroftheYear
