The Zachary Community School Board Child Nutrition Program goal is to server healthy, nutritious choices that are appetizing, affordable and available to all students. Menus, which are consistent with the Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDAs), the calorie goals, and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, have been planned so that customers can have healthier lives.

Free/Reduced Price Meal Application
Applications may be completed online at www.myschoolapps.com or a paper application may be filled out at your child’s school. Parents are to fill out ONE APPLICATION PER FAMILY. The completed application form may be returned to the Zachary Community School Board Office, 3755 Church Street, Zachary, LA 70791 or submit the application to the cafeteria manager at the school where your youngest child is enrolled. Those students who received free or reduced price benefits last year will begin the new school year on the same status. However, a new application must be submitted and processed for the new school year in order for meal benefits to continue.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint filing cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
