The Zachary Community School District Communications department plays a strategic role in keeping parents, students, staff members, community stakeholders, the public, and the media informed and engaged. We are committed to providing timely and accurate communications and maintaining and improving effective two-way communication between the ZCSD and its stakeholders.

Using “share tables” is an innovative strategy to encourage the consumption of nutritious foods and reduce food waste in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and the School Breakfast Program (SBP). Children may take an additional helping of a food or beverage item from the share table at no cost. Here are the guidelines:
