The Zachary Community School District Communications department plays a strategic role in keeping parents, students, staff members, community stakeholders, the public, and the media informed and engaged. We are committed to providing timely and accurate communications and maintaining and improving effective two-way communication between the ZCSD and its stakeholders.
All media inquiries regarding the district (schools, school events, students, employees, etc.) should be directed to ZCSD Communications Specialist Mandy Bradley.

The July ZCSD School Board meeting was held on Tuesday, July 14th and the Board honored three of its inaugural Board interns, Khaliyah Claiborne, Phoebe Fannin, and Jimmy McKnight. During this past year at ZHS, these students studied policy, met with local legislators, staff and students, and presented findings to the Board. They each had a cause that they championed.![]()

We are so honored to share insights from students, parents, alumni, employees, and community members who know the Zachary Community School District well and hold it close to their hearts. We are grateful to those who happily volunteered to share their thoughts, stories, and love for the ZCSD....their insights into excellence! Some brought a page of notes to guide them, and others spoke "off the cuff," but all shared straight from the heart. Our schools create a unique and deeply connected community where excellence is woven into every aspect of the ZCSD. The traditions of our district provide so many special, full-circle moments. One of the greatest strengths of the ZCSD is the story we have to tell. Every day, our students are learning, growing, performing, competing, and thriving because of the dedication of those who serve them and the unwavering support of our community — past and present. From strong academic experiences both inside and outside the classroom, to meaningful opportunities for artistic expression, to the teamwork and discipline developed through athletics, our Three A’s — Academics, Arts, and Athletics — continue to shape a district experience unlike any other.
