The Zachary Community School District Communications department plays a strategic role in keeping parents, students, staff members, community stakeholders, the public, and the media informed and engaged. We are committed to providing timely and accurate communications and maintaining and improving effective two-way communication between the ZCSD and its stakeholders.
All media inquiries regarding the district (schools, school events, students, employees, etc.) should be directed to ZCSD Communications Specialist Mandy Bradley.

On June 27th, voters who live within the ZCSD boundaries will have the opportunity to authorize existing school tax funds to be used only for ZCSD employee compensation, WITHOUT raising the tax rate on residents.![]()

With voter permission, these existing funds will be reallocated toward employee compensation (salaries and benefits). This will allow the ZCSD to retain and attract the best employees as well as continue to provide excellent benefit packages for current employees and retirees. Employee compensation has fallen behind other districts in our area, and some districts are looking at greater increases soon. This initiative connects directly with our 2025-2030 Board-approved Strategic Plan.![]()

REMEMBER- All voters living within the ZCSD boundaries are allowed to vote. Living outside of the City of Zachary boundaries does not disqualify you as a voter if you live within the district boundaries.![]()
