Dear ZCSD Parents,
I hope you are safe and well as we all continue to manage the impact of COVID-19 in our community. The required Louisiana statewide assessments have been reinstated for the 2020-2021 school year and are scheduled to be taken this spring. Our state assessments are tools that help determine the academic growth and achievement of our students on various content standards. The results of these assessments will allow us to monitor and evaluate student achievement and growth. It will also provide actionable data to target support and resources where they are needed most, thereby minimizing the negative impact of the pandemic on student learning.
The Louisiana Department of Education state policy requires that all districts administer state assessments, in person, at district testing sites. You can view the ZCSD Assessment calendar online by clicking here. In addition, your child’s school will provide you with school-specific assessment program information. You may also view the LDOE’s Parent Assessment Portal for state assessment information online by clicking here.
Thank you for your support.
Scott Devillier, Superintendent
