The Zachary Community School District Communications department plays a strategic role in keeping parents, students, staff members, community stakeholders, the public, and the media informed and engaged. We are committed to providing timely and accurate communications and maintaining and improving effective two-way communication between the ZCSD and its stakeholders.
All media inquiries regarding the district (schools, school events, students, employees, etc.) should be directed to ZCSD Communications Specialist Mandy Bradley.

Zachary Early Learning Center (PreK) is currently registering students in person at ZELC, and Northwestern Elementary School (K) is currently registering students online, both for the 2026-2027 school year.![]()

Please note that the state of Louisiana requires that students attend Kindergarten. 2025-2026 ZELC PreK students are automatically enrolled in Kindergarten at NES for the 2026-2027 school year. ![]()
