June 27th Election Day

On Saturday, June 27th, voters who live within the ZCSD boundaries will have the opportunity to authorize existing school tax funds to be used only for ZCSD employee compensation, WITHOUT raising the tax rate on residents.

With voter permission, these existing funds will be reallocated toward employee compensation (salaries and benefits). This will allow the ZCSD to retain and attract the best employees as well as continue to provide excellent benefit packages for current employees and retirees. Employee compensation has fallen behind other districts in our area, and some districts are looking at greater increases soon. This initiative connects directly with our 2025-2030 Board-approved Strategic Plan.

Election Date- Saturday, June 27, 2026. On election day, the polls are open from 7 am-8 pm.

REMEMBER- All voters living within the ZCSD boundaries are allowed to vote. Living outside of the City of Zachary boundaries does not disqualify you as a voter if you live within the district boundaries.
