Early Dismissal | Holiday | Defined Careers

Parents and Guardians,

Please remember that Wednesday, December 17th, Thursday, December 18th and Friday, December 19th are early dismissal days for all schools.  Students will return to school after the holiday on January 7th, 2026.  We wish you all a safe and happy holiday!

The ZCSD is still offering our students and their families access to Defined Careers, a college and career readiness platform that provides students with career exploration and experiences. Students in grades 7th-12th can all benefit from this tool. 

Defined Careers takes a holistic approach to helping students discover their interests while making critical connections to real-world, post-graduate career opportunities. 

Following an assessment of their values, interests, and study preferences, students are provided with a personalized list of careers to experience through hands-on projects.  Even students at a younger age can benefit from exposure to career paths and ideas.
